A tip of the hat to Monty Python there! Hi folks had fun today blocking out the downer news of the day and just focusing on the upbeat! Got some great jokes from listeners and Colleen told a joke successfully…so proud!

The free money song is worth $900 that means when we give that away, it’s on its way to $1000. That’s real money!!  Today I talked about my return to Jack’s Journal on TV 9 and 10. It’s a limited run but it was fun to do again. Also working with the 9 and 10 crew if fun. I got to work with a couple of young Photogs. They did a great job.

Well I’ll be chatting about that more in the days to come. Wednesday Jerry Dobek will be along and we also have to get Crosswind in to chat. Their second big show is this Friday night at Ground Zero. $5 cover, the first 200 in get free bar b cue from Red’s!  It will be a fun night.

Monday, Morels & Song Wars

It’s Monday night and we are back together again on the radio.  Nice to see some sunshine after a cloudy weekend…just wish it would warm up a bit!

After the rain stopped Sunday afternoon, we went out to try our luck at finding some of those elusive morels.  I’m ashamed to say that after a couple of attempts this year, we have been completely shut out.  A few fake morels and a couple of beefstakes and that was it.  None of our “lucky” spots have produced this year.  If anybody has any good spots to tell me about, give me a call.  I don’t think I’ll hold my breath for that call!

Our defending Song Wars Champ, LoCash Cowboys (“Here Comes Summer”) successfully defended their crown Monday night against Scott Steele (“Everyday Heros”).  LoCash Cowboys will face a new challenger Tuesday night at 8 on Song Wars.

New Song Wars Champ!

Well, I got this one right!  I have to admit, I’m not very good at predicting Song Wars winners, but this time I got it.  We crowned a new, Undefeated Song Wars Champion Tuesday night.  Paul Overstreet (“Kennesaw Cove”) won five nights in a row and retires as an Undefeated Champ.  Now we’ll start all over with a brand new round of competition.  Let’s see how I do this time!

A Volcanic Monday!

The volcano in Iceland is effecting travel world-wide. My wife Joann is in Europe visiting our daughters who are both college kids studying abroad.  We chatted about what is happening in Europe!
